제357회 동해시의회 제2차 정례회 예산결산특별위원회 현장방문 실시

동해시의회 예산결산특별위원회(위원장 정동수)는 11월 28일(금), 2026년 당초예산 심의를 앞두고 주요 사업 현장의 운영 실태와 추진 상황을 직접 확인하기 위해 현장방문을 실시했다.

The Donghae City Council’s Budget and Accounts Special Committee (Chairman: Jeong Dong-su) conducted a field visit on Friday, November 28, to review the operational conditions and progress of major projects ahead of the deliberation on the 2026 initial budget.

이번 현장방문은 ▲LS전선 ▲묵호역사 신축현장 ▲망상 제2오토캠핑장 등 총 3개소를 대상으로 진행됐다.

The field inspection covered three key sites: ▲LS Cable & System ▲the Mukho Station construction site ▲and the Mangsang Second Auto Camping Ground.

위원회는 첫 일정으로 LS전선을 방문해 ‘AI 자율제조 선도 프로젝트’ 추진 계획을 청취했다. 위원들은 프로젝트 추진 필요성과 향후 예상되는 재정 부담 요소 등을 검토하며 사업의 타당성을 점검했다.

The committee began its schedule at LS Cable & System, where members were briefed on the “AI Autonomous Manufacturing Leading Project.” They reviewed the necessity of the project, as well as potential future financial burdens, assessing its overall feasibility.

이어 묵호역사 신축 현장을 방문해 공사 진행 상황을 확인하고, 망상 제2오토캠핑장에서는 시설 노후화 정도와 자동차캠핑장 조성의 필요성을 직접 살펴보았다.

The committee then visited the Mukho Station construction site to check its progress, followed by an inspection of the Mangsang Second Auto Camping Ground to assess facility aging and the need for developing an auto-camping site.

#정동수 위원장은 “현장방문을 통해 예산서만으로는 파악하기 어려운 현실과 과제를 확인할 수 있었다”며, “앞으로도 사업의 타당성과 실행 가능성, 지역사회에 미치는 효과 등을 면밀히 검토해 세금이 꼭 필요한 곳에 쓰이도록 심의를 강화하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Chairman Jeong Dong-su stated, “The field visit provided an important opportunity to understand practical challenges that cannot be fully captured through budget documents alone,” adding, “The committee will continue to closely examine the feasibility, practicality, and community impact of all projects to ensure that tax funds are used where they are most needed.”
