김화공업고등학교(한국국방과학고)가 학생들의 생활환경 개선과 교육여건 향상을 위해 모듈러 공법(Modular Construction)을 적용한 신축 기숙사 건설에 본격 착공했다고 밝혔다.

Kimhwa Technical High School (Korea Defense Science High School) announced that it has begun full-scale construction of a new dormitory applying modular construction, aiming to improve student living conditions and create a more advanced educational environment.

이번 기숙사 신축은 강원 지역 교육기관 가운데 처음으로 대규모 생활관에 모듈러 공법을 도입한 사례다. 모듈러 공법은 건축 구조물을 공장에서 미리 제작한 뒤 현장에서 조립하는 방식으로, 공사 기간을 크게 단축하고 품질을 일정하게 유지할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

This dormitory project marks the first application of modular construction to a large-scale residence facility among educational institutions in the Gangwon region. Modular construction allows building components to be manufactured in advance at a factory and assembled on-site, shortening the construction period significantly while ensuring consistent quality.

학습·생활환경 대폭 개선 기대
