강원특별자치도교육청-원주시-원주교육지원청‘더나은교육지구’ 연장지정 업무협약 체결

강원특별자치도교육청(교육감 신경호)은 원주시(시장 원강수), 원주교육지원청(교육장 김성진)과 11월 18일(화) 원주시청에서 ‘원주 더나은교육지구’ 연장지정 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.

The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education (Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho), Wonju City (Mayor Won Kang-soo), and the Wonju Office of Education (Director Kim Sung-jin) signed an MOU on November 18 (Tue.) at Wonju City Hall to extend the “Wonju Better Education District” initiative.

이번 협약은 2018년 제1기(4년), 2022년 제2기(4년) 운영에 이어, 2026년부터 향후 4년간 제3기 사업을 새롭게 추진하기 위해 마련된 것이다.

This agreement follows the successful implementation of the 1st phase (2018–2021) and the 2nd phase (2022–2025), and launches the 3rd phase of the initiative beginning in 2026 for another four years.

세 기관은 ‘배움과 성장, 문화예술로 동행하는 원주’라는 비전 아래, 매년 4억 원(교육청 2억 원·지자체 2억 원)을 공동 지원하며 지속가능한 지역 교육생태계 구축을 함께 추진한다.

Under the shared vision of “Learning and Growing Together Through Culture and Arts,” the three institutions will jointly invest 400 million KRW annually (200 million KRW each from the Office of Education and the local government) to build a sustainable regional educational ecosystem.
