2025 동해안지역 지속가능한 물관리 혁신 심포지엄이 11월 18일 강릉과학산업진흥원에서 개최됐다.

The 2025 East Coast Sustainable Water Management Innovation Symposium was held on November 18 at the Gangneung Science & Industry Promotion Agency.

심포지엄은 강원특별자치도의회 물관리특별위원회 주관으로 열렸으며, 정치권·학계·행정·산업계·시민 등 300여 명이 참여했다.

Hosted by the Gangwon Provincial Assembly’s Special Committee on Water Management, the symposium brought together over 300 participants from politics, academia, administration, industry, and civil society.

#권혁열 위원장은 “2025년 강릉 가뭄은 기존 물관리 체계의 구조적 한계를 드러낸 경고”라며

Chair Kwon Hyuk-yeol emphasized, “The 2025 Gangneung drought was a stark warning revealing structural limits of our current water management system.”

기후 적응형 통합물관리 체계로의 전환과 현장 실행성 중심의 정책 설계를 강조했다.

1) 송미영 박사 – 경기연구원

주제: 통합물관리체제에서 동해안지역의 물관리 방안

Topic: Water Management Strategies for the East Coast under Integrated Water Governance

송 박사는 도암댐-동해안권 연계 전략과 지역별 맞춤형 통합물관리 방향을 제안했다.

Dr. Song proposed Doam Dam–East Coast linkage strategies and region-specific integrated water management models.

2) 이태관 박사 – 계명대학교

주제: 남한강 수자원 관리 및 갈등 해소 방안

Topic: Conflict-Resolution Strategies for the Namhan River Basin

이 박사는 한강수계기금의 효율적 활용과 도암댐 오염원 차단을 통한 유역 기반 갈등 해소 방안을 제시했다.

Dr. Lee presented basin-based conflict-resolution plans through efficient use of river basin funds and pollution-source control around Doam Dam.

3) 최계운 박사 – 전 한국수자원공사 사장

주제: 지표수–지하수 연계 스마트 물관리 혁신화 방안

Topic: Smart Water Management Linking Surface and Groundwater

최 박사는 강릉·영동권을 대상으로 AI 기반 수요예측, 물순환 데이터 통합 등 스마트 물관리 로드맵을 발표했다.

Dr. Choi proposed a roadmap for AI-driven water demand forecasting and integrated hydrological data systems for Gangneung and the East Coast region.
