2025 학생 리더십 특별프로그램 – 청소년 정책토론회 개최 “함께하는 정책, 청소년이 열어가는 미래”

강원특별자치도교육청(교육감 신경호)은 10월 30일(목)부터 31일(금)까지 이틀간 강원특별자치도교육청 학생교육원에서 ‘2025 학생 리더십 특별프로그램–청소년 정책토론회’를 개최했다. 이번 행사는 청소년의 교육정책 참여 기회를 확대하고, 학생 자치 역량과 시민성을 기르기 위해 마련됐다.

The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education (Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho) held the “2025 Student Leadership Special Program – Youth Policy Debate” from October 30 to 31 at the Student Education Center, aiming to expand youth participation in education policy and foster leadership and citizenship among students.

토론회는 1박 2일 일정으로 진행됐으며, 도내 18개 시·군에서 선발된 고등학생 40명이 참여했다. 학생들은 다양한 교육정책에 대한 의견을 나누며 토론을 통해 정책 제안의 기초를 다졌다.

The two-day event brought together 40 high school students from 18 cities and counties in the province to exchange opinions and discuss various education policies, laying the groundwork for policy proposals.

첫째 날에는 ‘마음열기’와 ‘참여촉진 학생자치리더십’ 프로그램을 통해 민주적 의사소통 능력과 자치 리더십을 강화했다. 이어 ‘우리가 꿈꾸는 강원교육(정책 제안Ⅰ)’ 시간에는 지역별 교육정책 아이디어를 공유하며 토론을 이어갔다.

On the first day, students participated in “Open Your Mind” and “Participatory Student Leadership” programs to strengthen democratic communication and leadership. During “Our Dream for Gangwon Education (Policy Proposal I),” they shared and discussed policy ideas by region.

둘째 날에는 조별 토의와 발표를 거쳐 교육감과 함께하는 정책간담회를 진행했다. 학생들은 교육격차 해소, 사교육 경감, 진로·진학 교육, 청소년 사회참여, 글로벌 역량 강화, 학생 수 감소 대책 등 현안을 주제로 정책을 제안하고 교육감과 활발히 질의응답을 나눴다.

On the second day, students held group discussions and presentations, followed by a policy forum with the superintendent. They proposed policies and exchanged views on key issues such as reducing educational disparities, alleviating private education dependency, career and college guidance, youth participation, global competency, and coping with declining student populations.

#송수경 인성생활교육과장은 “이번 정책토론회는 청소년들이 교육의 주체로서 강원교육 정책을 함께 고민하고 제안하는 의미 있는 자리였다”며,

Song Soo-kyung, Director of Character and Life Education, stated, “This debate was a meaningful opportunity for young people to engage as key participants in shaping the direction of Gangwon Education.”

“학생들이 리더십과 자치 역량을 길러 교육의 한 축으로 성장하는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

She added, “We hope this program helps students strengthen their leadership and autonomy, growing into integral members of the educational community.”
