강원특별자치도교육청, ‘인공지능 교수학습 플랫폼 강원아이로(AI-ro)’ 출범

강원특별자치도교육청(교육감 신경호)은 9월 26일(금) 오후 2시부터 3시 30분까지, 원주 인터불고 호텔 다이아몬드홀에서 인공지능 교수학습 플랫폼 ‘강원아이로(AI-ro)’ 론칭데이를 개최했다.

The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education (Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho) held a launching event for the AI-based teaching and learning platform ‘Gangwon AI-ro’ on Friday, September 26, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Diamond Hall of the Inter-Burgo Hotel in Wonju.

강원아이로는 강원특별자치도교육청이 독자적으로 설계한 강원 특화 인공지능 교수학습 플랫폼으로, 수업 준비부터 학습 진단·평가, 맞춤형 학습 지원까지 교실 수업 전 과정을 지원한다. 특히 지역 특성을 반영한 콘텐츠와 기능을 담아, 교실 현장에서 즉시 활용할 수 있도록 한 점이 큰 특징이다.

Gangwon AI-ro is a region-specialized AI-based teaching and learning platform independently designed by the Gangwon Office of Education. It supports the entire classroom process—from lesson preparation to learning diagnosis, assessment, and personalized learning support. A key feature is that it incorporates region-specific content and functions, enabling immediate use in the classroom.

또한 인공지능 기술을 활용해 교실 수업의 질을 높이고, 학습자 개개인의 수준과 속도에 맞춘 맞춤형 학습을 가능하게 한다. 강원 특화 서비스에는 강원교육 현장에 최적화된 콘텐츠와 도구가 우선 제공되며, 앞으로 공동개발 플랫폼과 연동되면 시도 간 협력 기반의 인공지능(AI) 학습 지원 체계가 본격적으로 자리 잡을 것으로 기대된다.

The platform utilizes AI technology to enhance the quality of classroom instruction and enables personalized learning tailored to each learner’s level and pace. Its region-specialized services prioritize content and tools optimized for the educational context of Gangwon. Once linked with the jointly developed national platform, it is expected to establish a robust inter-provincial AI learning support system.

이번 론칭을 계기로 교육청은 강원아이로를 도내 학교에 우선 적용하고, 내년 상반기에는 전국 11개 시도교육청(강원, 서울, 인천, 세종, 대전, 경북, 울산, 전북, 전남, 광주, 제주)과 공동 개발 플랫폼을 연동해 서비스 범위를 확대할 계획이다.

With this launch, the Office of Education will first apply Gangwon AI-ro to schools within the province. In the first half of next year, it plans to expand services by linking the platform with the jointly developed system of 11 metropolitan and provincial offices of education nationwide (Gangwon, Seoul, Incheon, Sejong, Daejeon, Gyeongbuk, Ulsan, Jeonbuk, Jeonnam, Gwangju, and Jeju).

신경호 교육감은 “강원아이로는 강원교육이 지향하는 맞춤형 미래 교육의 상징이자, 디지털 기반의 교육혁신을 선도할 비전의 출발점”이라며 “교실 수업의 혁신을 통해 교사와 학생 모두가 변화의 주체가 되는 미래 교육의 새로운 장을 열겠다”고 말했다.

Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho stated, “Gangwon AI-ro is both a symbol of the personalized future education envisioned by Gangwon and a starting point for leading digital-based educational innovation. Through classroom innovation, we will open a new chapter of future education where both teachers and students become the main agents of change.”
