“남춘천역에서 열리는 일상 속 예술 아트페어”

2025 Gangwon Art Market Festival to Be Held

강원특별자치도(도지사 김진태)는 (사)한국민족미술인협회 강원지회와 함께 「2025년 강원미술시장축제」를 9월 26일(금)부터 10월 1일(수)까지 6일간 남춘천역 1층 문화공간에서 개최한다.

Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Kim Jin-tae), together with the Gangwon Branch of the Korea Minjok Artists Association, will host the 2025 Gangwon Art Market Festival at the Cultural Space on the 1st floor of Namchuncheon Station from September 26 (Fri) to October 1 (Wed), 2025, for six days.

강원미술시장축제는 2005년부터 강원지역 작가들이 주축이 되어 20년째 이어지고 있는 강원 대표 예술축제로, 매년 다양한 주제의 작품을 선보이며 관람객과 소통해왔다.

The Gangwon Art Market Festival, which began in 2005 led by local artists, marks its 20th anniversary this year. It has become a representative art festival of the Gangwon region, presenting works on diverse themes each year and engaging in dialogue with audiences.

올해 축제는 ‘생활 속 예술, 시장 속 감동’을 주제로, 강원 전역에서 활동하는 50명의 작가가 참여해 다양한 분야의 작품을 전시·판매하는 아트마켓 형태로 운영된다.

This year’s festival, under the theme “Art in Everyday Life, Inspiration in the Market,” will feature an art market format. Fifty artists from across Gangwon Province will participate, exhibiting and selling works across a wide range of artistic fields.

특히 2022년부터는 교통 중심지이자 일상 공간인 남춘천역을 전시장으로 활용, 시민과 방문객들이 일상에서 자연스럽게 예술을 접하고 즐길 수 있는 생활 속 문화예술 축제로 자리매김하고 있다.

Since 2022, Namchuncheon Station, a central transportation hub and everyday space, has been used as the festival venue. This allows citizens and visitors to naturally encounter and enjoy art in their daily lives, establishing the festival as a community-centered cultural and artistic event.

#정연길 강원특별자치도 문화체육국장은 “강원미술시장축제는 강원 도민과 관광객이 강원 예술을 가까이에서 즐기고 작품을 소장할 수 있는 특별한 기회”라며, “강원 작가들의 창작활동이 활성화되고 지역 미술시장이 더욱 활기를 띨 수 있도록 많은 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

Jeong Yeon-gil, Director of Culture and Sports for Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, stated:

“The Gangwon Art Market Festival is a special opportunity for residents and visitors alike to enjoy Gangwon’s art up close and even acquire works. We hope this event will energize the creative activities of local artists and invigorate the regional art market, and we ask for your active interest and participation.”
