강릉 교(원)장 협의회, 가뭄 극복 위해 애쓴 소방관에 감사 인사

강릉교육지원청(교육장 김기현)은 9월 23일(화), 강릉 교(원)장 협의회 임원진이 강릉소방서를 방문해 감사 인사를 전하고 소방관들에게 간식과 음료를 전달했다고 밝혔다.

On September 23 (Tue), the Gangneung Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Ki-hyun) announced that executives of the Gangneung Principals’ Council visited Gangneung Fire Station to express their gratitude and delivered snacks and beverages to firefighters.

이번 방문은 강릉 지역의 심각한 가뭄 상황을 극복하기 위해 전국 각지에서 모여 급수차로 생활용수를 공급한 소방관들의 헌신에 대한 감사의 뜻을 전하기 위해 마련됐다.

The visit was organized to recognize the dedication of firefighters from across the nation who have been supplying household water with tank trucks to help alleviate the severe drought in Gangneung.

강릉 유·초·중·고·특 교(원)장 협의회는 “전국 소방관들이 한마음으로 강릉을 위해 헌신해 주신 것에 깊이 감사드린다”며 “교육 현장에서도 물 절약을 생활화하고, 학생들에게 위기 극복의 연대 정신을 가르치겠다”고 전했다.

The Principals’ Council for kindergartens, elementary, middle, high, and special schools in Gangneung stated, “We deeply appreciate the firefighters nationwide who have united in their commitment to support Gangneung. In our schools, we will foster water conservation as a daily practice and teach students the spirit of solidarity in overcoming crises.”

#이상현 강릉소방서장은 “전국에서 달려와 준 소방관들의 노고가 지역사회에 큰 도움이 되고 있다”며 “교육계의 따뜻한 격려가 현장에 큰 힘이 된다”고 밝혔다.

Lee Sang-hyun, Chief of Gangneung Fire Station, commented, “The efforts of firefighters who came from all over the country are making a real difference in the local community, and the warm encouragement from the education sector provides great strength to our team.”

강릉 교(원)장 협의회는 앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 위기 극복을 위한 협력을 이어가고, 학생들에게 공동체적 가치와 감사의 정신을 심어주는 교육 활동을 지속적으로 추진할 계획이다.

The Gangneung Principals’ Council will continue to collaborate with the local community to overcome challenges while promoting educational initiatives that instill values of community and gratitude in students.
