제18회 신사임당 얼 선양 어린이 백일장·초충도 그리기 대회 시상식 열려

강릉시는 지난 20일 오전 11시 율곡국학진흥원 강당에서 ‘시 승격 70주년 기념 제18회 신사임당 얼 선양 어린이 백일장·초충도 그리기 대회’ 시상식을 개최했다. 이번 행사는 사임당21(회장 김효숙) 주관으로 열렸다.

Gangneung City held the awards ceremony for the 18th Saimdang Spirit Children’s Writing and Chochungdo Painting Contest, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the city’s elevation, on the morning of September 20 at the Yulgok Institute of Korean Studies auditorium. The event was organized by Saimdang21, chaired by Kim Hyo-suk.

이날 시상식은 지난 6일 강릉오죽한옥마을에서 열린 대회에 참가한 유치원·초등학생 140여 명 가운데 우수한 성적을 거둔 어린이들을 격려하는 자리였다.

The ceremony celebrated outstanding works by some of the 140 kindergarten and elementary school students who participated in the contest held on September 6 at Gangneung Ojuk Hanok Village.

심사위원단은 수상작들이 어린이들의 상상력과 솔직한 감성, 생명의 소중함을 잘 담아냈다고 평가했다. 백일장 부문 대상은 중앙초 4학년 이채윤 학생, 초충도 그리기 부문 대상은 율곡초 5학년 송하영 학생이 각각 수상했으며, 총 57명이 강릉시장 상장을 받았다.

The judging panel praised the winning works for their creativity, sincerity, and messages about the value of life. In the writing category, the grand prize went to Lee Chae-yoon, a fourth grader at Jungang Elementary School, while in the painting category, the grand prize went to Song Ha-young, a fifth grader at Yulgok Elementary School. In total, 57 students received commendations from the Mayor of Gangneung.

사임당21 김효숙 회장은 “이번 대회를 통해 아이들이 자연과 문학, 예술을 가까이하며 꿈을 키우길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 지역사회와 함께 어린이들의 성장을 지원하는 문화행사를 이어가겠다”고 말했다.

Kim Hyo-suk, President of Saimdang21, said, “I hope this contest helps children grow their dreams through nature, literature, and art. We will continue to support their growth by expanding cultural events in collaboration with the community.”
