제3회 원주시 꿈이룸 한마당, 10월 11일 원주문화원 일원서 개최

원주시는 다음 달 11일, 원주문화원 일원에서 ‘제3회 원주시 꿈이룸 한마당’을 개최한다.

Wonju City will hold the 3rd “Kkum-Irum Hanmadang” Festival on October 11 at the Wonju Cultural Center.

이번 행사는 원주시의 대표 교육정책인 ‘꿈이룸 바우처’와 연계해 초등학생들이 평소 배우던 예체능을 무대 위에서 표현하고, 온 가족이 함께 즐기며 성장의 순간을 나누는 시민 참여형 축제다.

The event is linked to the city’s flagship education policy, the “Kkum-Irum Voucher,” allowing elementary students to showcase what they have learned in arts and physical education, while families enjoy the performances together in a citizen-participatory festival.

지난 2회 행사에 4,500여 명이 참여하며 큰 호응을 얻은 데 이어, 올해는 시민 의견을 반영해 프로그램의 완성도와 체류 만족도를 더욱 높였다.

Following the success of the previous two events, which attracted more than 4,500 participants, this year’s festival has been upgraded with feedback from citizens to enhance program quality and visitor satisfaction.

K-POP 랜덤댄스부터 버블 아티스트까지...더 풍성한 체험 콘텐츠

From K-POP Random Dance to Bubble Artists: More Diverse Experience Programs

실내·외 공연에는 가맹 학원 20여 곳이 참여하는 무대 공연과 함께 K-POP 랜덤플레이댄스, 버블 아티스트 특별공연 등 아이들의 관심과 참여를 이끌 콘텐츠가 새롭게 추가된다.

Indoor and outdoor performances will feature shows by more than 20 affiliated academies, along with new attractions such as K-POP random play dance and a special bubble artist performance designed to capture children’s interest.

체험 부스도 대폭 확대됐다. 경동대학교, 한라대학교, 원주미래산업진흥원과 협업해 가상현실(VR), 로봇, 드론, AI, 메타버스 등 특색 있는 진로·체험 콘텐츠가 다양하게 운영될 예정이다.

Experience booths will also be significantly expanded in collaboration with Kyungdong University, Halla University, and the Wonju Future Industry Promotion Agency, offering unique career and hands-on programs including VR, robotics, drones, AI, and the metaverse.

또한 지난 행사에서 시민들이 가장 많이 요청했던 먹거리 부스와 쉼터 공간도 함께 마련됐다.

In addition, food booths and rest areas—requested most by citizens at previous events—will also be provided.

주차 스트레스 해소! ‘지역축제장 순환버스 운행’으로 더 편하게

No More Parking Stress: Festival Shuttle Bus Service Introduced

행사 당일 교통 혼잡 문제 해결을 위해 ‘지역축제장 순환버스’도 처음으로 운영된다.

For the first time, a shuttle bus service will operate to ease traffic congestion on the day of the event.

지난 9월 ‘원주시 지역축제장 순환버스 운영 조례’가 통과됨에 따라, 이번 행사에서는 젊음의 광장 주차장을 임시 주차장으로 지정하고, 원주문화원 행사장까지 셔틀버스를 순환 운행하기로 했다.

Following the passage of the “Wonju Festival Shuttle Bus Ordinance” last month, Youth Square will be designated as a temporary parking lot, with shuttle buses circulating between the lot and the cultural center.

오전 9시부터 오후 5시까지 약 15∼20분 간격으로 운행되는 셔틀버스를 통해 행사마다 반복되는 주차난이 다소 해소될 것으로 기대된다.

The buses will run every 15 to 20 minutes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., helping to alleviate the recurring parking problems at local festivals.

Safe and Fun: A Stage for Growth with the Whole Family

축제장에는 자원봉사자와 안전요원, 응급 구조대를 상시 배치해 참여자 누구나 안전하고 쾌적하게 즐길 수 있는 환경을 조성할 예정이다.

Volunteers, safety staff, and emergency responders will be stationed throughout the venue to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all participants.

포토존과 안내소, 대기 장소도 곳곳에 배치해 아이들이 자신의 재능을 마음껏 펼치고 추억을 남길 수 있도록 준비했다.

Photo zones, information desks, and waiting areas will also be set up, allowing children to showcase their talents while creating lasting memories.

한편 이번 꿈이룸 한마당에서는 축제 당일 오전 사생대회도 함께 열린다. 관심 있는 초등학생은 시 홈페이지 등에 게시된 안내문의 큐알(QR)코드를 통해 신청할 수 있다.

Meanwhile, a drawing contest will be held on the morning of the festival. Interested elementary students can apply through the QR code provided on the city’s website.

원강수 원주시장은 “이번 꿈이룸 한마당은 단순한 체험 축제를 넘어, 아이들의 꿈과 가능성을 시민 전체의 자산으로 확산시키는 장이 될 것”이라며, “시민과 함께 더 나은 교육환경을 만들기 위해 앞으로도 다양한 시도를 이어가겠다”라고 말했다.

Wonju Mayor Won Kang-su stated, “This festival will go beyond a simple hands-on event, becoming a venue to spread children’s dreams and potential as a shared asset of all citizens. We will continue to make various efforts with citizens to create a better educational environment.”
