‘하나 된 동해, 희망의 울림’ 제38회 동해무릉제 9월 18일 개막

동해문화관광재단(이사장 심규언)은 오는 9월 18일(목)부터 21일(일)까지 4일간 동해웰빙레포츠타운과 동해문화예술회관 일원에서 제38회 동해무릉제를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

The Donghae Culture and Tourism Foundation (Chairman Sim Gyu-eon) announced that the 38th Donghae Mureung Festival will be held from September 18 (Thursday) to 21 (Sunday) for four days at Donghae Wellbeing Leisure Sports Town and Donghae Culture & Arts Center.

무릉제는 동해시를 대표하는 문화관광축제로 자리 잡아왔으며, 올해는 ‘하나 된 동해, 희망의 울림’을 주제로 세대와 계층, 지역의 경계를 넘어 모두가 하나로 어우러지는 화합의 장으로 꾸며질 예정이다.

The Mureung Festival has established itself as Donghae’s representative cultural tourism festival. This year, under the theme “United Donghae, Resonance of Hope,” it will serve as a venue for harmony, transcending generations, classes, and regions.

올해 개막식은 미디어 아트를 활용한 대북 퍼포먼스로 서막을 열고, 중국 요령성 예술단의 무대가 이어지며 이색적인 즐거움을 선사한다. 개막공연에는 장윤정, 딘딘, 노을, 김유선, 유지우 등 국내 인기 가수들이 출연해 화려한 무대를 펼친다.

This year’s opening ceremony will begin with a grand media art and drum performance, followed by a special stage by the Liaoning Arts Troupe from China, offering audiences a unique experience. Popular Korean singers such as Jang Yoon-jung, DinDin, Noel, Kim Yoo-sun, and Yoo Ji-woo will headline the opening concert, adding glamour to the festival’s beginning.

세대공감 콘서트에는 진성, 박명수, 효린, 창민 등이 출연해 남녀노소 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 무대를 선보인다. 피날레 무대는 레이저쇼와 LED 트론 댄스팀의 화려한 공연으로 축제의 대미를 장식한다.

The Generational Harmony Concert will feature top artists including Jin Sung, Park Myung-soo, Hyolyn, and Changmin, presenting performances that appeal to all ages. The grand finale will showcase a laser show and a LED Tron dance performance, closing the festival with spectacular visuals.

축제 현장에는 문화예술 전시, 민속놀이, 향토음식 체험, 영수증 투어 등 다채로운 체험이 마련되며, 올해는 지역경제 활성화를 위해 ‘세일페스타’가 동시 진행된다. 관내 업소들이 참여해 할인 혜택을 제공, 관광 소비를 지역 상권으로 연결시켜 실질적인 경제 효과 창출을 도모한다.

The festival grounds will also feature cultural art exhibitions, folk games, local food experiences, and receipt tours. This year, a “Sale Festa” will be held in conjunction, with local businesses—including restaurants, shops, and souvenir stores—offering discounts to stimulate the local economy.

동해문화관광재단은 시민 참여율 5% 증가, 축제 만족도 85% 이상을 목표로 청소년 및 농수축산 프로그램 강화, 공연장 동선 확보, 안전관리 체계 구축 등 운영 전반을 강화할 방침이다.

The Foundation aims to increase citizen participation by 5% and achieve a festival satisfaction rate of over 85%, by enhancing youth and agricultural programs, improving stage logistics, and strengthening safety measures.

동해문화관광재단 관계자는 “무릉제는 단순한 축제가 아니라 시민과 관광객 모두가 참여하고 즐기는 희망의 무대”라며, “올해도 동해의 매력을 널리 알리고, 미래 도약의 발판이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

A Foundation representative stated, “The Mureung Festival is not just a celebration, but a stage of hope where both citizens and tourists can participate and enjoy together. This year, we will do our best to showcase Donghae’s charm and make it a stepping stone for the city’s future growth.”
