A Classroom Connected by AI! Opening the Future of Gangwon Education

강원특별자치도교육청(교육감 신경호)은 9월 10일(수) 오후 1시 30분, 원주교육문화관 대강당에서 도내 학부모를 대상으로 ‘2025년 찾아가는 교육정책 서비스’를 개최했다.

On September 10 (Wednesday) at 1:30 p.m., the Gangwon Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho) held the “2025 On-Site Education Policy Service” for parents in the province at the Wonju Education and Culture Center auditorium.

이번 행사는 ‘인공지능(AI)으로 연결되는 교실! 강원교육의 내일을 열다’를 주제로 정책 설명, 전문가 특강, 토크콘서트 등 다양한 프로그램으로 진행됐다.

The event, under the theme “A Classroom Connected by AI! Opening the Future of Gangwon Education,” featured various programs including policy briefings, expert lectures, and a talk concert.

강원특별자치도교육청 손정환 미래교육과 디지털과학팀장이 ‘학생 맞춤 교육을 실현하는 강원 아이로(AI-ro)’를 주제로 AI 활용 정책을 발표했다. 이어 연곡초등학교 최형규 교사는 ‘인공지능 교육, 학교에서는 이렇게 이루어집니다’ 특강을 통해 실제 수업 사례와 활용 방안을 소개했다.

Son Jeong-hwan, Head of the Digital Science Team at the Gangwon Office of Future Education, presented Gangwon’s AI policy under the theme “Gangwon AI-ro: Realizing Personalized Education.” This was followed by Choi Hyung-kyu, a teacher at Yeongok Elementary School, who shared real classroom cases and application methods in his lecture “AI Education: How It Works in Schools.”

이어진 교육감과의 토크콘서트에서는 학부모와 발표자가 함께 참여해 디지털교육 정책에 대한 다양한 의견을 나누었다.

In the following talk concert with the superintendent, parents and speakers actively exchanged views on digital education policies.

‘찾아가는 교육정책 서비스’는 강원특별자치도교육청, 교육부, 전국학부모지원센터, 한국교육방송공사(EBS)가 공동 주관했다. 현장 참여뿐 아니라 EBS와 유튜브 채널을 통한 실시간 중계로 전국 학부모 누구나 채팅을 통해 참여할 수 있어 큰 관심과 호응을 얻었다.

The “On-Site Education Policy Service” was jointly organized by the Gangwon Provincial Office of Education, the Ministry of Education, the National Parent Support Center, and the Educational Broadcasting System (EBS). In addition to on-site attendance, the event was broadcast live on EBS and YouTube, allowing parents nationwide to participate via live chat, which drew significant interest and engagement.

신경호 교육감은 “이번 행사는 학부모와 교육청이 함께 소통하며 미래 교육의 방향을 고민하는 뜻깊은 자리였다”며, “앞으로도 학부모와의 소통을 최우선으로 삼고, 우리 아이들이 인공지능(AI) 시대의 주인공으로 당당히 성장할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho remarked, “This event was a meaningful opportunity for parents and the education office to communicate and reflect on the future direction of education.” He added, “We will continue to prioritize communication with parents and actively support our children to grow confidently as key players in the era of AI.”
