강릉시, 시민 대상 병입수 배부 개시

강릉시는 가뭄 장기화로 인한 제한급수 조치(개도율 75%)에 따라 전 시민을 대상으로 병입수 배부 절차에 들어갔다.

Gangneung City has started distributing bottled water to all residents due to prolonged drought and a 75% water supply restriction.

시는 당초 오봉저수지 저수율이 10% 미만일 경우 전 시민에게 배부할 계획이었으나, 시민 불편을 최소화하기 위해 계획보다 일찍 배부하기로 결정했다.

Originally, the city planned to distribute water once Obong Reservoir’s water level dropped below 10%, but decided to start earlier to reduce inconvenience for residents.

배부물량은 18개 면·동 총 3,615톤(300세대 이상 공동주택 포함)이며, 인구수 기준으로 배정된다. 1인당 12L(1일 2L씩 총 6일 사용량)를 배부한다.

The total distributed volume is 3,615 tons across 18 townships and districts (including apartment complexes with over 300 households), allocated based on population. Each person receives 12 liters, enough for 6 days at 2 liters per day.

병입수는 1차로 면·동별 5개 권역으로 나눠 오는 4일(목)까지 강릉아레나에서 각 권역으로 이동 후, 주민센터별 계획에 따라 전 시민에게 배부될 예정이다.

Bottled water will first be divided into 5 regional zones by township/district and moved to each zone by September 4 (Thursday) from Gangneung Arena. Distribution to all residents will follow according to plans from local community centers.

300세대 이상 공동주택은 각 면·동이 아닌 시청에서 일괄 배부하며, 시청 국별 책임 권역을 지정해 거동이 불편한 주민 및 재해 취약자에게는 직접 배달할 예정이다.

Apartment complexes with over 300 households will receive water directly from City Hall, not local centers. City Hall has assigned responsible departments to personally deliver water to residents with mobility issues and vulnerable groups.

한편, 시는 지난 8월 29일(금)까지 주문진읍, 연곡면, 왕산면을 제외한 제한급수 구역 내 사회복지시설(노인복지시설, 장애인시설, 경로당 등)과 교육시설(유치원, 초·중·고등학교 등)에 278톤(2L 기준 139,000병)의 생수를 우선 배부했다.

Meanwhile, by August 29 (Friday), the city had already distributed 278 tons (139,000 bottles of 2L each) of bottled water to social welfare facilities (senior centers, disability facilities, community centers, etc.) and educational institutions (kindergartens, elementary, middle, and high schools) in restricted water supply areas, excluding Jumunjin-eup, Yeongok-myeon, and Wangsang-myeon.

#김홍규 강릉시장은 “가뭄으로 인한 시민 불편을 최소화하기 위해 모든 가용 자원을 총동원하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.

Mayor Kim Hong-gyu stated, “We will mobilize all available resources to minimize inconvenience for citizens caused by the drought.”
