동심으로 피어나는 올림픽의 기억 제1회 평창동계올림픽 기념 동요대회, 감동 속에 열려

 

평창의 푸른 여름, 아이들의 목소리가 서울대학교 평창캠퍼스 대강당을 따뜻하게 물들였다.

2025년 7월 5일 토요일, 평창교육지원청(교육장 김금숙)은 동계올림픽의 정신을 노래로 잇는 ‘제1회 평창동계올림픽 기념 동요대회’를 감동 속에 성황리에 개최했다.

On a warm summer day in PyeongChang, the voices of children filled the grand auditorium of Seoul National University’s PyeongChang Campus with warmth and harmony.

On July 5, 2025 (Saturday), the PyeongChang Office of Education (Director Kim Geum-sook) successfully held the 1st PyeongChang Winter Olympics Memorial Children’s Song Festival, celebrating the Olympic spirit through pure, heartfelt songs.

 

 

 

 

 

이번 대회는 평창교육지원청이 주최·주관하고 (재)평창유산재단이 후원했으며, 평화와 화합, 희망이라는 올림픽의 가치를 동요라는 순수한 언어로 풀어내기 위해 기획되었다.

예선에는 강원도 8개 지역에서 총 46개 팀이 참가해 뜨거운 열기를 더했으며, 본선에는 그중 21개 팀이 진출해 아름다운 노래로 무대를 빛냈다.

Hosted by the PyeongChang Office of Education and sponsored by the PyeongChang Legacy Foundation, the festival was designed to convey the core values of the Olympics—peace, unity, and hope—through the purest of expressions: children’s songs.

A total of 46 teams from eight regions across Gangwon-do submitted entries, and 21 teams advanced to the finals, offering moving performances on stage.

 

 

 

 

축제의 현장에는 신경호 강원특별자치도 교육감을 비롯해 지역의 주요 인사들과 학부모, 교사, 시민 등 400여 명이 함께해 아이들의 노래에 귀를 기울였다. 동계올림픽 영상 상영과 포토존, 축하공연 등 다양한 부대행사도 함께 마련돼 모두에게 잊지 못할 하루가 되었다.

More than 400 guests—including Gangwon Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho, local officials, parents, teachers, and community members—gathered to celebrate the children’s heartfelt songs.

With a screening of Winter Olympics highlights, photo zones, and special performances, the event became a memorable day not just for the participants, but for everyone in attendance.

 

김금숙 교육장은 “이 대회는 단지 노래를 부르는 자리가 아니라, 동심을 지켜주는 시간이었다”며 “오늘 아이들이 만든 추억이 훗날에도 따뜻한 기억으로 남기를 바란다”고 전했다.

Director Kim Geum-sook stated, “This wasn’t just a singing contest—it was a moment to protect and cherish the innocence of childhood.”

“I hope the memories created today will become a warm part of the children’s youth, and that the spirit of PyeongChang and their dreams live on in their songs.”
