강릉시립교향악단, 제145회 정기연주회 개최

강릉시립교향악단은 시 승격 70주년을 맞아 오는 7월 4일(금) 오후 7시 30분, 7월 5일(토) 오후 4시, 강릉아트센터 사임당홀에서 제145회 정기연주회를 개최한다.

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of Gyeongpo City’s elevation to city status, the Gyeongpo Philharmonic Orchestra will hold its 145th Regular Concert at the Gangneung Arts Center’s Saimdang Hall on Friday, July 4 at 7:30 PM and Saturday, July 5 at 4:00 PM.

7월 4일에는 세계적인 피아니스트 조성진이 무대에 오르며, 7월 5일에는 차세대 바이올리니스트 김서현이 협연자로 나선다.

Pianist Cho Seong-jin, a winner of the 2015 Chopin International Piano Competition, will perform on July 4, while violinist Kim Seo-hyun, the youngest-ever winner of the 2022 Cooper International Competition, will appear on July 5.

이번 연주회에서는 멘델스존 피아노 협주곡 제1번, 라벨 피아노 협주곡 G장조, 차이콥스키 바이올린 협주곡 D장조, 차이콥스키 교향곡 제6번‘비창’ 등 다양한 명곡이 연주될 예정이다.

The repertoire includes Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1, Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major, Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D Major, and Symphony No. 6 "Pathétique" by Tchaikovsky.

특히 이번 공연은 강릉시민을 위한 전 좌석의 50% 우선 배정, 관람료 2만 원 이하의 파격적 혜택을 통해 더 많은 시민이 고품격 음악을 접할 수 있도록 했다.

Notably, 50% of the seats were reserved for Gyeongpo residents, and ticket prices were set at under 20,000 KRW, an unprecedented move to ensure wider public access.

조성진 공연은 티켓 오픈과 동시에 전석 매진되었으며, 시민들의 높은 관심 속에 문의가 잇따르고 있다.

Cho Seong-jin’s concert was sold out immediately upon ticket release, reflecting strong public interest.

강릉아트센터 심규만 관장은 “이번 연주회는 70년간 함께한 시민 여러분께 드리는 감사의 무대이며, 강릉의 문화적 위상을 다시 한 번 높이는 계기가 될 것”이라고 밝혔다.
