평창교육지원청(교육장 김금숙)은 6월 26일(토) 평창교육지원청 대회의실 및 다목적회의실, 영재교실에서 지역 내 초등학생과 학부모를 대상으로 “2025 학부모와 함께하는 영재발굴캠프”를 개최하였다.

On Saturday, June 26, the Pyeongchang Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Geum-sook) held the “2025 Gifted Discovery Camp with Parents” for local elementary school students and their parents at the Office’s main conference room, multipurpose room, and gifted education classroom.

이번 영재발굴캠프는 학생들에게 영재교육 체험 기회를 제공하고, 평창영재교육원을 소개하며, 아이들의 관심사와 적성에 맞는 영재교육의 기회를 제공하고자 마련되었다.

This camp was designed to offer students hands-on experiences in gifted education, introduce the Pyeongchang Gifted Education Center, and provide opportunities tailored to each child’s interests and aptitudes.

이날 프로그램에는 초등학교 4학년부터 6학년까지 학생과 학부모 40여 명이 참석하였다.

Around 40 students from grades 4 to 6 and their parents participated in the program.

학부모 특강으로는 평창영재교육원 및 2026 교사관찰추천제 안내가 이루어졌으며, 체험활동으로는 △학생 체험활동 ‘자연은 디자이너’, ‘프랙탈’ △학부모-학생 공동 활동 ‘어질어질, 신기한 무아레 무늬’ 등이 운영되었다.

The camp featured a special lecture for parents, introducing the Pyeongchang Gifted Education Center and the 2026 Teacher Observation Recommendation System. Student activities included “Nature as a Designer” and “Fractals,” while joint parent-student activities explored optical illusions through “Dizzying, Fascinating Moiré Patterns.”

#김금숙 교육장은 “미래 사회를 이끌어갈 우리 아이들의 잠재력을 발견하고 키워주는 것은 우리 교육의 주요한 책무”라며 “앞으로도 평창 교육은 학생들이 자신의 꿈을 마음껏 펼칠 수 있도록 다양한 영재 교육 기회를 확대하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.

Superintendent Kim Geum-sook stated, “Discovering and nurturing the potential of our children—who will lead the future—is one of education’s core missions,” adding, “Pyeongchang will continue to expand opportunities in gifted education so that students can fully realize their dreams.”
