동해시, 무릉오선녀탕 7월 10일 개장

시원한 물놀이와 자연 속 휴식을 동시에 누릴 수 있는 여름철 힐링 명소 ‘무릉오선녀탕’이 7월 10일부터 8월 20일까지 42일간 운영될 예정이다. 오전 9시부터 오후 5시까지 개방되는 오선녀탕은 무더운 여름, 최적의 피서지로 주목받고 있다.

Mureung Oseonnyeotang, a summer healing destination offering both cool water play and relaxation in nature, will be open from July 10 to August 20 for 42 days. Operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., making it an ideal summer retreat.

삼화동 무릉건강숲 인근에 자리한 무릉오선녀탕은 계곡수와 지하수를 활용한 자연친화적 물놀이 시설이다.

Located near Mureung Health Forest in Samhwa-dong, Mureung Oseonnyeotang is an eco-friendly water park that utilizes valley water and groundwater.

천혜의 자연 속에 조성된 이곳은 평균 수심이 60~90cm로 얕고 물이 차가워 아이들과 함께 찾는 가족 방문객들에게 특히 인기가 높다.

Nestled in pristine natural surroundings, it features shallow pools with an average depth of 60–90 cm and cold water, making it especially popular among families with children.

매년 1만 명 이상의 이용객이 꾸준히 방문하며 여름철 피서지로 자리 잡고 있다.

Each year, over 10,000 visitors come to enjoy this popular summer destination.

무릉오선녀탕의 가장 큰 특징은 자연지형을 살려 조성된 5개의 야외 풀장이다.

A key highlight of Mureung Oseonnyeotang is its five outdoor pools that make use of the natural terrain.

구불구불 이어지는 풀장은 원형과 타원형 형태로 구성되어 있으며, 자연석과 조경수로 구획을 나눠 마치 숲속 계곡에서 노는 듯한 분위기를 연출한다.

The winding pools are circular and oval-shaped, divided by natural stones and landscaping trees, creating the feel of playing in a forest stream.

각 구역 주변엔 형형색색의 파라솔과 그늘막이 설치되어 있어 휴식 공간도 충분하다.

Colorful parasols and shade canopies are installed throughout, offering plenty of resting areas.

화장실, 탈의실, 매점, 포토존 등 부대시설도 잘 갖춰져 있다.

The site also features well-equipped amenities such as restrooms, changing rooms, snack bars, and photo zones.

시는 안전하고 쾌적한 물놀이 환경 조성을 위해 다각도의 준비를 하고 있다.

The city is making multifaceted preparations to ensure a safe and pleasant water play environment.

뱀 그물망, 데크, 샤워시설, 인조잔디 등을 정비했고, 주요 구조물의 안전 점검도 마쳤다.

Improvements have been made to snake nets, decks, shower facilities, and artificial grass, and key structures have undergone safety inspections.

5개 풀장은 친환경 페인트로 새 단장을 마쳤다.

All five pools have been newly coated with eco-friendly paint.

운영 기간에 물놀이 안전관리소가 설치되며 안전요원이 배치되고, 구급약품이 비치된 구급함과 인명구조 장비가 현장에 마련된다.

During the operation period, a water safety control station will be in place with lifeguards on duty, first-aid kits, and life-saving equipment available on-site.

주 2회 수질검사를 실시하며, 각 풀장은 하루 한 차례 이상 청소가 이루어진다.

Water quality will be tested twice a week, and each pool will be cleaned at least once daily.

한편, 무릉오선녀탕을 찾는 차량에 대해 환경관리 요금을 부과하고 있으며, 요금을 납부한 차량에는 10리터 종량제 봉투를 지급한다.

Meanwhile, vehicles entering Mureung Oseonnyeotang are charged an environmental management fee, and a 10-liter garbage bag is provided upon payment.

환경관리 요금은 승용차량 4,000원, 승합차량(11~24인) 10,000원, 버스(25인 이상) 20,000원이며, 동해시 등록 차량에는 50% 할인이 적용된다.

The fees are 4,000 KRW for passenger cars, 10,000 KRW for vans (11–24 passengers), and 20,000 KRW for buses (25 passengers or more). Donghae-registered vehicles receive a 50% discount.

김순기 무릉전략과장은 “무릉오선녀탕은 자연 속에서 안전하고 쾌적하게 여름을 보낼 수 있는 최적의 장소”라며 “많은 방문객이 즐거운 여름 추억을 남길 수 있도록 빈틈없는 운영에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
