Mongolian Digital Agency Delegation Visits Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education

Discussions on Future Education Systems and Digital Educational Content Cooperation

The Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education (Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho) held a meeting with a delegation from Mongolia’s Regulatory Agency of Government Digital Service on February 13 (Thursday) at 9 a.m. to discuss collaboration on digital literacy education.

Mongolia has recently designated digital literacy as a national priority and established a dedicated Digital Agency.

The country is currently operating digital clubs for middle and high school students across all 21 provinces, implementing digital literacy programs nationwide.

As part of its national policy to expand digital literacy, the Mongolian delegation visited Gangwon to benchmark its future-oriented education systems and digital educational content.

The two sides also explored potential avenues for bilateral cooperation in education.

Shin Kyung-ho, Superintendent of the Gangwon Office of Education, stated, “We hope this visit by the Mongolian Digital Agency delegation will further strengthen educational collaboration between our regions. We remain committed to supporting joint efforts in digital education and fostering global talent.”
