Gangwon State Dance Company's First Planned Performance of 2025: "SinaBrunch Concert - Greeting"

SinaBru (SinaBru: Gradually, Unnoticed), the Dance Moves of the State Dance Company Infusing into Our Daily Lives -

The Gangwon State Dance Company (Director: Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs Jeong Gwang-yeol) will present its planned performance, "2025 SinaBrunch Concert - Greeting," on Wednesday, February 26, at 11:00 AM at the Gangwon Traditional Music Arts Center's 3rd Floor Rehearsal Stage, welcoming the new year.

"SinaBrunch" is a combination of "SinaBru" (meaning "gradually, unnoticed") and "Brunch," reflecting the hope that the dance company's movements will slowly and subtly blend into the daily lives of the residents, much like a cup of tea.

This performance will showcase the grace and depth of traditional dances, such as Hyangbalmu and Taepyeongmu, centered around the themes of excitement and hope for the new year.

In particular, the stage will offer a high-quality performance with a modern twist on the dance company's movements, featuring collaborations with the Chuncheon City Choir and cellist Hwang So-jin.

Kim Jin-mi, Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer of the Gangwon State Dance Company, expressed, "We hope many audience members will join us to enjoy a stage filled with excitement and charm that will awaken all their senses."

강원특별자치도립무용단(단장: 경제부지사 정광열)이 새해를 맞아 2월 26일(수) 오전 11시 강원국악예술회관 3층 리허설스테이지에서 기획공연 ‘2025 시나브런치 콘서트-마중’을 선보인다.

‘시나브런치’는 ‘시나브로’와 ‘브런치’를 결합한 것으로, 무용단의 춤사위가 천천히, 조금씩 도민의 일상에 차와 함께 물들어가길 바라는 마음을 담았다.

이번 공연은 새해 아침의 설렘과 희망을 주제로 향발무, 태평무 등 전통춤의 품격과 깊이를 보여준다.

특히, 춘천시립합창단, 첼리스트 황소진과의 협연을 통해 무용단의 춤사위를 현대적 감각으로 풀어낸 고품격 무대를 선사할 예정이다.

도립무용단 김진미 예술감독 겸 상임안무자는 “많은 관객이 공연을 찾아와 오감을 환히 밝힐 흥과 멋의 무대를 함께 즐겨주셨으면 좋겠다”라고 전했다.
