“63m 번지점프로 외친 한마디”… 강삼영, “교육감 선거 꼭 투표해 주세요”

강삼영 강원도교육감 예비후보가 후보 등록 후 첫 공식 일정으로 투표 참여를 독려하는 이색 이벤트를 펼쳤다.

 Kang Sam-young, a preliminary candidate for Superintendent of Education in Gangwon, held a unique event encouraging voter participation as his first official schedule after registering his candidacy.

강 후보는 14일 오후 인제군 내린천 번지점프장에서 “강원도교육감 선거, 꼭 투표해 주세요”라는 슬로건을 외친 후 국내 최고 높이인 63m 번지점프대에서 힘차게 뛰었다.

On the afternoon of the 14th, candidate Kang shouted the slogan, “Please vote in the Gangwon Superintendent of Education election,” before making a bold leap from Korea’s highest 63-meter bungee jump platform at Naerincheon Bungee Jump in Inje County.

 이번 퍼포먼스는 지방선거 가운데 상대적으로 관심이 낮은 교육감 선거를 알리고, 유권자들의 투표 참여를 독려하기 위해 마련됐다.

 The performance was organized to raise awareness of the superintendent election, which generally receives less public attention than other local elections, and to encourage voter participation.

강 후보는 “강원도교육감 선거는 우리 아이들의 미래와 강원교육의 방향을 결정하는 중요한 선거”라며 “아직도 교육감 선거에 대한 관심이 낮은 만큼 더 많은 도민들께서 교육감 선거에 관심을 갖고 투표에 참여해 주시길 바란다”고 호소했다.

Candidate Kang stated, “The Gangwon Superintendent of Education election is an important election that determines the future of our children and the direction of education in Gangwon,” adding, “Public interest in the superintendent election is still low, so I sincerely hope more residents will pay attention and participate in voting.”

 번지점프를 마친 뒤에는 “번지점프는 처음 도전해 본다”며 “강원교육 역시 미래를 향해 용기 있게 나아가야 할 시점”이라고 강조하며 “다새로운 도전을 시작해야 하는 강원교육을 위해 도민 여러분들의 투표 참여를 거듭 부탁드린다”고 당부했다.

 After completing the jump, Kang remarked, “This is my first time trying bungee jumping,” emphasizing that “Gangwon education must also move courageously toward the future.” He repeatedly urged residents to participate in voting for the sake of a new challenge and transformation in Gangwon education.

한편, 강 후보는 이날 오전 본선 후보 등록을 마쳤으며, 본격적인 선거운동에 돌입할 예정이다.

Meanwhile, candidate Kang completed his official candidate registration earlier that morning and is expected to begin full-scale election campaigning.
