Gangwon State University (President Kim Gwang-rae) successfully held the "2024 Gangwon State University Innovation Performance Workshop for Sharing and Spreading Achievements of the College Innovation Support Project" over two days from January 16 to 17 at the Ramada Sokcho Hotel.

This workshop was organized to share the excellent outcomes of the university's autonomous innovation plan, which was established based on its mid-to-long-term development strategy, with all university members.

The workshop proceeded in the following order: presentations on educational innovation achievements, a special lecture on the RISE project, presentations on industry-academic cooperation innovation achievements, and other innovation achievement presentations.

Notably, Jo Hoon, Vice President of Seojeong University, attended as a guest speaker for the RISE (Regional Innovation-Centered University Support System) project. He delivered an in-depth lecture on "Strategic Planning to Strengthen University Competitiveness under the RISE System," covering topics such as the university's efforts to build a regional-industry-academia cooperation system, strategies for preparing for the IMPACT evaluation of a university’s influence on the local community, and preparations to support new university members, including adult learners and international students.

President Kim Gwang-rae expressed his gratitude, stating, "I sincerely thank all faculty and staff for their hard work in successfully managing the second phase of the Innovation Support Project. It was a meaningful time to share these achievements with all faculty and staff."

He added, "We will continue our efforts for sustainable innovation so that our university and the local community can grow together in the third phase of the Innovation Support Project starting in 2025."

강원도립대학교(총장 김광래) 혁신지원사업단은 1월 16일부터 17일 양일간 라마다 속초 호텔에서 '2024년도 전문대학 혁신지원사업 성과 공유 및 확산을 위한 강원도립대학교 혁신성과 워크숍'을 성공적으로 개최했다.

이번 워크숍은 대학의 중장기발전계획에 근거하여 수립된 자율혁신계획의 우수 성과를 대학의 구성원들과 함께 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.

워크숍은 교육혁신 영역 성과 발표, RISE 사업 관련 특강, 산학협력혁신 영역 성과 발표, 기타 혁신 영역 성과 발표 순서로 진행됐다.

특히, RISE(지역혁신중심 대학지원체계) 사업 관련 특강을 위해 서정대학교 조훈 부총장이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.

조훈 부총장은 ‘RISE 체계 하 대학의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 전락 설계’를 주제로 지·산·학 협력체계 구축을 위한 대학의 노력,대학의 지역사회 영향력(IMPACT) 평가 준비 전략,새로운 대학 구성원(성인학습자, 유학생)을 위한 대학의 준비에 대해 심도 있는 강연을 펼쳤다.

김광래 총장은 “먼저 2주기 혁신지원사업의 성공적 운영을 위해 힘써 준 모든 교직원분들께 감사드리며, 혁신지원사업의 성과를 전체 교직원들과 공유할 수 있어 뜻깊은 시간이다”라고 말했다.

더불어 “2025년부터 시작되는 3주기 혁신지원사업에도 우리 대학의 지속적인 혁신을 통해 대학과 지역이 동반 성장할 수 있도록 힘쓰겠다”라고 밝혔다.
